Sheer Beauty!

That was what I thought when my nephew Brian texted me this picture.  He graduated college in May, got a job, went to Texas for training and now they sent him to Colorado; where the photo is from.  He loves to ski, so this is perfect; I am glad he is happy but I miss him....

As for the scrapbooking part, this is a DESIGN TEAM layout for PICTURE THIS!  The challenge criteria as follows: 2 photos, repetition in those 2 photos and splattering.  I would love to have you join us in this challenge if you get some time! Thanks for stopping in to peek and I appreciate all comments so much!

This was just this past Thursday, January 23  Talan is saying "no" more often to having his picture taken (at 2 1/2)!  But I managed to catch these random shots and as "Gammy", I can't resist them! I used this week's sketch from LET'S GET SKETCHY.   Thanks for taking a peek.

Thank you! I really appreciate your comments!

Reindeer Cookies....Sorta!

Christmas 2014 came and went once again and now we are well into January 2015!  I am still remembering a couple of weeks back when my gsons & I made these cookies:  They had a blast (even if I did buy pretzels way too big and the wrong color M&Ms for the eyes!)  This is a Design Team Layout, MY FIRST! for THE MEMORY NEST.  Click on the name and come join us for the 1st challenge there for 2015!  Thanks for stopping by!

Have you ever thought...ATCs? NEVER!

Maybe you're still saying that!....I DID say that...oh about 3-4 years ago-thought it was REALLY STRANGE!-why would anyone want to do that?!
1.  It is really a challenge to create on a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch card, which help you become more creative
everywhere else!
2.  You end up finding the thousands of people that do this too and they are such fun people!
3.  You get some culture by trading all over the world (I have France, Australia, Switzerland etc), the
commonality is so cool!
4.  You can use them on layouts/cards if you want to.
5.  They don't take up very much room since they are so small.
6.  They are so easy to look at over and over again!
7.  You just plain ole' get ADDICTED!

The following Artist Trading Cards were done this week for PAT (Pick a Theme-the other person picks and you have to do it!) Swap over at Splitcoaststampers-It's a 3 month swap period, but I am about 2/3 done--I signed up to make 13.
I'd love to know what you think or answer any questions! TFL!

Hi Everyone!  This is a DESIGN TEAM Layout I created from the following sketch for STICK IT DOWN!
Doing the Layout brought back all the fun I had at the amusement/water park on that day last August.  It was especially nice since reliving that as it is now winter here!  Thanks for taking a look today!
