School Days @ Creative Embellishments

Hello!  We are into the end of 2018 already and what a busy time of year!  The school year is well underway too and already there are memories from my grandsons 1st day-I bought them new Minecraft backpacks and off they went! So I documented the day using many cute school products from (click & go) -> CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS.

If you have some time during this busy time of year, check out the link above as the monthly challenge is underway and you have a chance to win $50 in their fabulous products!

MY LAYOUT:
Creative Embellishments Products Used:  Alphabet Border:  I cut it in half, and used Tim Holtz white distress paint.  Distress Number Stamp:  I used the stamp above and below the alphabet border and added different ink colors to make it stand out a bit. Learn:  I used an orangey ink and a coat of glossy accents. School Set: Ruler, Back to School board : I left them natural and formed a cluster in the lower right area of the right photo along with A School Flair button

Celebrating a Birthday @ Let's Get Sketchy!

Hello!  This happens to be August 20, 2018-my brother's 53rd Birthday.  His daughter couldn't resist taking a bite of a candy bar that she then wrapped for her dad (among other things!) So here, he told her go-ahead take another bite!  I based this page on the December 1 sketch @ (click & go) -> Let's Get Sketchy.  If you have some time during this busy time of year, PLEASE join us!

**This is my last Design Team layout for Let's Get Sketchy, after 5 years with Brenshevia and her challenge sites! It's been a total pleasure!   Too much happening in life these days-have to go in that direction!!!! But-hope to play along!!!!**

Christmas is Coming @ Creative Embellishments

Hello! December 1st! WOW!  What this has been a super fast year for me!  There is a new monthly challenge @ (click & go) -> CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS which brought memories of last Christmas as I decided to create a scrapbook layout from those memories.  My grandsons, Brian & Talan were so excited for Pop Pop and I to open our present from them (adorable photos of them in a cute frame)…

HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US for a chance to win
$50 in Creative Embellishments fabulous products!

Take a look at the inspiration photo (the twist is to add an animal or pet):

MY LAYOUT:
CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS PRODUCTS USED:
Stars:    I used Tim Holtz picket fence distress paint to color the wood veneer stars.  Star Stencil:  I used texture past to place sporadic stars from this stencil.  Holly Jolly Flair:  I placed one flair on the Santa/Sleigh (left natural!) and another next to the word GIFT.  NORTH POLE: I used a little white ink on this sign to look like settling snow & ripped cotton below to look like snow too!  STAR PIECES:  I cut these and used Tim Holtz picket fence distress paint and tucked them to the side of the vertical photo.

Perfect Day @ Creative Embellishments

Hello!  This was really a fun and "Perfect Day" for Talan.  I took him to a birthday party @ Sahara Sam's. We (Yes!-I did EVERYTHING!) had so much fun! This is a nice memory already as fall quickly approaches.  I created this page for (click & go) -> CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS.  You still have 2 weeks  to join in the monthly challenge for a chance to win $50 in their fabulous and reasonable products!  We hope to see you there!

Creative Embellishments Products Used:
Large Corner Flourish:  I used white and red ink and turned this as a centerpiece for this page.  In the center I used 1 triangle, backed with cardstock and added Talan's name. Word Bubbles:   See the close-up below as to what I did to these word bubbles.  Perfect Day:  Ink with dark Blue Ink.  Photo Flair:  Placed Next to the title.

Best Friends @ CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS!

Hello!  I couldn't resist these photos of my niece, Marrah with her bestie in matching outfits.  They really are sweet together!  Doing this layout gave me another "excuse" to use my faves-HEARTS!  I created the page layout for (click & go) -> CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS.  November has just begun-so if you have some time, we would love to have you join this month's challenge for a chance to win $50 in their fabulous ( & reasonable!) products.  Hope to see you there!

MY PROJECT: with a touch of whimsy!
Creative Embellishment products Used: Best Friends: these are considered BORDER WORDS-I just LOVE them-I left this chipboard natural on this page.  Mini Heart Panel: I cut it unevenly and placed it around the photos as well as on the dangling heart pieces-I also left these pieces natural. 2018 Flair: I love flairs and try to use them on most pages; I placed this one in the center of the die cut Butterfly. Distressed Text Stamp:  I stamped all across the bottom o this page and then used a blue ink around this area.
